my Bell Food Group is the new app for Bell Food Group employees. It provides access to the most important information about the Bell Food Group. This keeps all employees up to date at all times.

Download and registration

  • 1. Download

    Scan the QR code or download the my Bell Food Group app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

    Important: In the Apple App Store, the app is only available via the direct link.

    2. Login

    Click on "Single-Sign-On". Log in with the normal Bell Food Group access data (e-mail address).

    Important: For smartphones, two-factor authentication is required.

General

  • How do I differentiate the my Bell Food Group app from other communication channels such as Teams, e-mail and communities?

    The my Bell Food Group app has the important advantage that we can use it to reach all employees, even those without PC access.

    Whenever the target group of a message also needs to reach employees without PC access, we choose the my Bell Food Group app.

    Employees with PC access continue to communicate with each other on the usual topics via email or Teams. The my Bell Food Group app is not a collaboration platform.

    The my Bell Food Group app chat function replaces the business WhatsApp chats. We no longer use WhatsApp for business chat exchanges.

  • How is bullying and insults dealt with at my Bell Food Group?

    We do not tolerate bullying, insults or unwanted contact or harassment on our my Bell Food Group app. Please also note our rules of conduct.

    If you see a comment or a post in a stream that you feel is inappropriate, please use the "report function" (by clicking on the three dots or the arrow in the mobile) and report the post/comment. The post will then be reviewed by moderators.

  • We have a cell phone ban - how do we deal with it?

    For us, the principle is that customer focus, quality, safety and hygiene - the latter is particularly important in production - are always at the center. For this reason, the use of cell phones in the various areas is clearly regulated and in some cases restricted. Observe the guidelines of your area regarding the use of cell phones.

  • Am I expected to use the my Bell Food Group app during my free time?

    The my Bell Food Group app is basically voluntary. You are not expected to use the app outside of your working hours.

    Employees decide when to use the app. They also manage their notifications themselves and decide if and when they want to be notified.

    If you feel that you can't do your job without the my Bell Food Group app and you don't want to download the app to your personal phone, contact your line manager. They will make sure that you receive the information in another way.

  • Where do I maintain my profile picture?

    If you want to add, change or delete a profile picture, you can do this at any time. To do this, go to your profile and change your profile picture there. In the mobile app, go to your profile and then click on the pencil in the top right-hand corner and adjust your photo.

App installation & login

  • How can I download the app?

    On iOS: The app is only available via the following link and cannot be found directly via the Apple Store.

    For Android: The app can be downloaded directly via the Google Play Store or via the following link.

  • Can I use my Bell Food Group from my PC?
  • Can I install the app on multiple devices?

    Yes, you can install and use the app on multiple devices.

  • Can I turn off notifications?

    Yes, you can turn off notifications by customizing your push notifications via "More" > "Settings" > "Notifications". You can also set whether you want to receive notifications from the my Bell Food Group app in your general phone settings.

  • I can't find the my Bell Food Group app in the Apple App Store. Why is that?

    The my Bell Food Group app cannot be found in the Apple Store via the normal search. You can download it to your iPhone/iPad via this link.

  • How can I show my colleague how to download the app?

    Under "More" in the my Bell Food Group app, you will find the "Bell Food Group" folder in the document library, where you will also find the QR codes for downloading the app.

    Employees with a business e-mail address can then log in to the app via single sign-on.

    Employees without a business email address can then contact their line manager or HR manager for their personal QR code.
  • I have carried out an update, after which I can no longer log in. What can I do?

    There are various options here:

    • Log out of my Bell Food Group and log in again: "More" > "General" > "Log out"
    • Restart the app
    • Delete and reinstall the app on the mobile
    • If these steps are not successful, please contact your HR manager
  • My account is blocked. What can I do?

    Please contact your line manager or your HR manager.

  • I have a new cell phone and can no longer log in. What can I do?

    Please contact your line manager or your HR manager.

  • How can I change or reset my password?

    In the mobile app under "More" > "Settings" > "Change password" you can change your password. This also works in the same way on the desktop.

Contributions

  • Can everyone publish a post in the streams?

    Yes, with the exception of the "Bell Food Group"stream, where contribution rights are restricted. In all other streams, it is actually desirable for employees to participate. This means that all posts can be published, commented on and liked.

  • I would like to publish a post in the streams. How do I proceed?

    In the stream under "Create new post" you can enter a new post. Please enter a short title, your text and, if possible, an image or video. You can also add labels to your post, which act like a filter function.

  • Why can't I publish a post in the "Bell Food Group" stream?

    Only people with a certain authorization can post in the "main stream". If you would like to share information, experiences, stories or successes that could be of interest to all Bell Food Group employees, please write an email to employee-app@bellfoodgroup.com or use the contact form.

  • Can I tag colleagues in posts or comments?

    You can mark people by typing @Name of person. The tagged person will then receive a notification that they have been mentioned.

  • How can I send someone the link to a specific post?

    There are two options here:

    You can either copy the link to this post for posts below the three dots and forward it via chat.

    Or you can create a comment on the corresponding post and mark the person in it with @Name of the person.

  • What must be observed when writing articles? Are there rules?

    You can find detailed information on what to pay attention to when creating a post in the Fair Play Rules in the my Bell Food Group app. These can be found under "More" > "General" > "Information" > "Fairplay-Rules".

  • Can I delete posts?

    You can only delete posts that you have written yourself

  • My post has disappeared, although it was already visible in the stream. Why is that?

    The post has probably been reported. This function allows every user to report individual posts that they feel are inappropriate. As soon as a post has been reported three times, the post disappears. The moderator checks the post. Depending on the assessment, it will be republished or deleted.

  • Can I edit a post after I have published it?

    You can edit your own posts afterwards. To do this, click on the three dots next to your post and then on "Edit" to change the post. It will be noted in the post that it has been edited.

  • How do I translate posts and comments?

    The my Bell Food Group app automatically translates the posts and comments into the language you have set on your smartphone or browser. If a post is displayed in a language other than your own, click on "Show translation" and the text will be translated into your device language. The same works in chats, forms, etc.

  • How do I use emojis?

    On mobile: Via the keyboard, as with WhatsApp and other messengers.

    About the PC on the web: The emoji window opens via the key combination "Windows + dot" (Windows users).

Streams

  • I would like to watch a different stream - is that possible?

    The streams are assigned depending on where you work. There are organizational areas with many interfaces to other areas. For these, an insight into other streams would be helpful.

    If this is the case for you, please contact your line manager. If they agree, they can request authorization for the desired stream for you or the team via employee-app@bellfoodgroup.com.
  • How can I customize the notifications for individual streams?

    The setting can be made as follows: Click on " More" > "Account" > "Settings" > "Notifications". You can use the slider to switch the authorization on or off for each stream individually.

Chats

  • Can I create and manage a group chat myself?

    Yes, anyone can start a chat and add multiple people. Click on the three dots in the chat, "Open chat details" and here in the "Add participants" section and enter the name of the person you want. As soon as a message is sent, it becomes a group message.

    The person who created the chat is now the group chat administrator and can add and remove other people.

    Important: At least 2 people must always be designated as group chat administrators (e.g. due to vacation absence). Please do not forget to integrate new employees if necessary.

  • Can anyone view my chat?

    Neither the line manager nor employees with administrative rights can view chats in which they are not a group member.

  • Can I delete a (group) chat?

    No, chats can only be archived. Go to the corresponding group chat. There, click on the group name > "Settings" > "Archive chat".

  • Can I delete a chat message?

    Yes this is possible, but only your own messages.

  • I would like to have a chat message translated, how can I do that?

    On mobile: Hold down the relevant message for a moment to display the available options, then click "translate".

    In the desktop version: Click on the three dots next to the message and select "translate".

  • Can I send pictures, videos and documents in chats?

    To send a picture, click on the down arrow and the "picture" icon below the input field and select the desired photo. As soon as the upload is complete, the message will be displayed in preview mode. By clicking on "Send", the attachment will be sent.

    If you want to send a video or document, click on "File" below the input field. Select the video or document on your device and it will be sent as an attachment. The person who clicks on the file can then play the video in a separate window. This works on the desktop version of the app as well as on mobile.

  • I would like to send a voice message. What do I need to consider?

    Voice messages can only be recorded on a mobile device, not in the web app. Once a voice message has been sent, it can no longer be deleted. The maximum duration of voice messages is 10 minutes.
